NEW: ASEF YOUTH PARTNERSHIPS: STRENGTHENING RELATIONS BETWEEN ASIAN AND EUROPEAN YOUTH

ASEF Youth Partnerships is a fund available to youth organisations in ASEM countries who want to promote partnerships between youth and youth organisations and encourage initiatives to strengthen relations between Asian and European youth at the level of national organisations and local communities.

Their projects focus on intercultural dialogue to directly impact the professional and personal lives of the projects participants, as well as to indirectly contribute to raising social awareness and community development.

This programme represents a development of the `Youth Connections scheme', established by ASEF in 2003. The ASEF Youth Partnerships is an open channel to identify partners and proposals for future co-operation, in projects where ASEF will have a crucial role during all phases, from conceptualisation and preparation to implementation, evaluation and reporting.
