School Links

The link was established in October 2006 between Andalucia and the south-west of England with an official signing at the Spanish Embassy in London. Plymouth Local Authority was linked with Cadiz because the areas are similar and both Plymouth and Caidz are ports. Visits to Plymouth by Spanish Headteachers/teachers took place in March and November 2007 with a visit to Cadiz by Plymouth Headteachers in November 2006. Eight Plymouth schools are now linked with schools in the Cadiz region.
